Oswego High School Class of 1986 Legacy Scholarship
Purpose: To honor the 40th reunion of the Class of 1986 by supporting a graduating Oswego High School senior who demonstrates character, community connection, and a commitment to furthering their education, while establishing a replicable model for future graduating classes.
This year, we proudly launched the Class of 1986 Legacy Scholarship to support a graduating Oswego High School senior pursuing college, trade school, or professional certification—because success doesn’t follow just one path.
We are thrilled to share that Peyton Bond, OHS Class of 2026, was selected as our very first scholarship recipient and received a $3,000 award on June 11, 2026.
Peyton’s selection wasn’t based on GPA. The scholarship recognizes the qualities that matter beyond the classroom—character, resilience, community involvement, and the impact Oswego has had on a student’s life.
Peyton sent our class the beautiful thank-you note below, sharing how much the scholarship and our support mean to her.

The Legacy Continues
Thanks to the generosity of our classmates and community, over $750 will be carried forward to help the Class of 1987 begin its own scholarship. Our hope is that this becomes an annual tradition, with each graduating class helping to support the students who follow.
There is still time to help grow that legacy. Online donations will remain open through July 31, 2026, and every additional dollar will help future OHS graduates pursue the path that is right for them.
Let’s come together again—not just to celebrate, but to make an impact.
NOTE: All funds collected for the scholarship will be used for that purpose, Beth Dice has generously provided us the avenue to collect the funds as well as cover the cost of merchant processing fees. Your credit card statement will show a charge from Beth Ann Dice LLC
